Lectures by Hank Quense! Two Saturdays, 6/8 & 6/15, Noon-2 pm, in the MPL Conference Room

Do you have a story in you? Do you know how to write it or how to tell it? The Creating Stories lectures have the answers.

Hank Quense, the author of more than twenty books, tells you how to do it. Quense believes that stories come from the melding of three elements: ideas, story design and story-telling. Ideas have to come from the writer. The Creating Stories lectures covers the second and third elements.

This two-part lecture shows writers how to go about creating characters, the setting, the plot and scenes. It also covers how to tell the story so it holds the reader’s attention. The Creating Stories techniques can be used on any type of story: short stories, novels, scripts or memoirs.

Free. No RSVP needed.
